Natural Organic Skin Care is Good for Your Skin

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Organic Skin Care

The push is on for more people to use natural organic skin care products. For too long people have been applying unsafe synthetic products on their skin. However, just because a product claims to be organic, does not always guarantee that it is organic or natural. You need to educate yourself on how to choose a safe product for your skin.

As a consumer it is important to know what is in the natural organic skin care cream you are using. In fact, it is important to know what is in anything you apply to your skin. Many products contain preservatives or fragrances that can be harmful or irritable to your skin.

The best herbal Skin Care products contain natural substances that help reduce lines and wrinkles on your skin. The best products contain extracts from natural substances that are blended together in a scientific process to produce safe products to use on your skin.

Unless you are making the product yourself, your natural organic skin care cream is not going to be one hundred percent organic. Some processing takes place. In fact, the processing can improve the effectiveness of the ingredients. However, there should not be any preservatives in the product. Some preservatives or parabens can cause cancer.

If used properly, your natural organic skin care cream should not last beyond its best before date. For it to be effective, it should be applied at least once per day. Now, what are the specific natural ingredients you should look for in a good skin cream?

Some oils are good for your skin; some oils such as mineral oils are not good for your skin. An example of good oil used in natural Organic Skin Care products is avocado oil. It hydrates the skin quite deeply and it can stimulate the production of the vital skin protein called collagen. Collagen is what gives your skin the texture and elasticity of youthful skin.

Another effective natural substance used in herbal skin care products is Cynergy TK. It is derived from the wool of sheep in New Zealand. It contains keratin, which is another vital protein that helps with the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.

I cover more natural organic skin care ingredients on my website.

do you use organic/natural skin care products on your baby?
hi, i can not decide weather it would be a good to use an organic brand/product on my baby or just stick to Johnson’s and Johnson’s??(eg shampoo, soap, moisturiser)

what products do you use on your baby (eg shampoo, soap, moisturiser)

    thank you :)

I use organic & natural on my baby but then I use organic & natural on me too & around my home & we’re very happy with that choice. You don’t have to use organic but I’d definitely try to use natural vs the chemical junk that is J&J. My baby’s eight months & has never so much as had a red bottom, let alone nappy rash. Weleda products are sensational & I’d highly recommend them!

I use johnson and Johnson’s. I love the smells. It wouldn’t hurt to use organic either, it will just cost more. Do what you feel in your heart, and what you think is best for your baby.

The problem with Johnson’s baby shampoo is that it is quite drying. Aveeno is simply much better.

I am not that into natural or organic, and I am certainly all for cheap, but the johnson’s type baby shampoo is just not good on baby skin.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ANY BURT’S BEE’S BABY BEE PRODUCTS! They smell so good and are all natural! The diaper ointment, dustin powder, and lotion are my number ones! Target also has a brand called "California Baby" its all natural as well, no gluten, soy oat, dairy, or nuts. Good stuff. But I have to go with my favorite stuff that is Burt’s Bee’s Baby Bee products! They are ALL good and smell SO GOOD!

we wrote/emailed to all the baby brands we have readily available from our local store (i live in small town) and asked them to send us samples to help us decide.

Before baby was born i used each sample on my own skin to see how i found it. This eliminated brands i didn’t like - some where too drying, others smelt "yucky", some were so similar to a cheaper brand that i cut out the expensive version on the list. From the few that i did like that were left on the list, we opted for the cheapest one.

In the end what works best for us is the bedtime Johnsons and Johnsons baby bath, and Johnsons and Johnsons combined shampoo + conditioner and the Johnsons and Johnsons bedtime lotion.

it’s worth getting the samples though, i seriously wanted to go organic until i tried their samples.

I avoid using any sort of chemicals, as I find that scalding water and a scrub-brush works fine.

We use Burt’s Bee’s baby products. No problems as of yet. Plus they all smell great!
    Good Luck!
P.S. If your baby has cradle cap, just use a few drops of olive oil and then gently brush before shampooing it out. It works better than anything else I’ve found.
